You have a story within you waiting to be read. I want to help you tell it.

This Fall, I’m offering four different ways to work with me on your writing. Each one is designed to meet you where you are—whether you’re just clarifying your book idea, want support as you craft your first draft, or are ready for full manuscript feedback.

The Four Offerings

  • Book Idea Breakthrough

Two powerful coaching sessions where we utilize your Human Design to clarify: Your book idea and your writing routine. You’ll leave with a structured outline and book writing plan you can actually follow.

  • Book Year Group Program

A yearlong writing group for women who are craving: community, accountability, and trauma-informed support. We’ll guide you through the process of writing your book, offering encouragement along the way.

  • 1:1 Book Coaching + Editing

A private six-month coaching container to: Shape your book idea, complete your draft with weekly feedback, and stay on track with regular accountability calls. I look forward to supporting you.

  • Manuscript Editing

Do you already have a partial or complete draft? I offer developmental editing for a select number of manuscripts each year. This includes two coaching calls along with your edits.

Megan Febuary trauma-informed book coach

DEAR WRITER,

I’ve seen new and experienced writers write memoirs, nonfiction, fiction, and poetry books. Shifting doubts into confidence, resistance into routine, and fear into freedom with stories they are proud to tell. I want to help you develop your writing voice, heal through the creative process, and complete the book you’ve been talking about for years.

My background is in narrative-focused trauma care and embodied storytelling. I received my M.A. from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, emphasizing The Body Is A Storyteller: Trauma, body, and integration. These narrative therapy studies, my work as an Editor and Publisher at For Women Who Roar, my background as a trauma-informed yoga teacher, and my Human Design training inform my coaching with a Holistic approach to the book-writing process.

This therapeutic writing and book coaching is about more than just writing a book; it is about a transformation. Are you ready to awaken your voice and finally write the book you’ve longed to?

I’m honored to support you,
Megan

  • “Megan has been such a crucial and integral part of my book writing journey. Her wisdom and guidance has not only helped me uncover my life’s work, but she has also helped me believe in myself. The container Megan provides as a trauma informed book coach allows me to dig deep while meeting my vulnerability while feeling safe, seen, and supported along the way.”

    – Leesha Mony, Labor Land

  • “If any of you even have an inkling of a desire to write a book.. work with Megan. As she says, ‘you don’t have to write alone.’ She has been a faithful companion for my writing journey. Her wisdom, presence, and guidance has allowed me to find the courage I didn’t know I had or needed to write these stories.”

    – Katherine Sleadd, How To Be A Bad Friend

  • "From my first interaction with Megan I could see the path forward and while I could've written a book without her, I wouldn't want to-and if I'm honest I don't know that I would have. Megan provided a graceful rhythm of structure, encouragement, accountability and enthusiasm. The editing and feedback she provided feel invaluable and having completed my manuscript I can wholeheartedly say I'd love to work with her again."

    – Mel Gentry Bosna, In The House of Me

  • “I had just embarked on the journey of writing a book when I came across Megan's Book Year Program. It had everything I needed as a new writer — a writing community, accountability groups, beta readers, developmental edits, and a phenomenal book coach. Because of her endless guidance, kind words, gentle nudges, and boundless love and energy, I have a manuscript that is almost ready to query to agents less than a year since I started it. Thank you Megan, for being the best book coach and editor a writer could ask for.”
