Hello dear writer, I’m Megan Febuary. I am in the sacred business of helping folks write their books and heal their stories one word at a time.
I am the author of Brave The Page: How Writing Our Hard Stories Brings Healing and Wholeness and the For Women Who Roar poetry collection.
My passion for storytelling began at a young age, with my own creative journey in writing and art as a form of healing trauma. Before there were linear stories to tell, there was poetry, metaphor, and my messy artistic process. I truly believe this process is at the heart of our healing and creative recovery. It’s not about the end product but who we will become in the process of creating it.
My background is in narrative-focused trauma care and embodied storytelling. I received my M.A. from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, emphasizing The Body Is A Storyteller: Trauma, body, and integration. These narrative therapy studies, my work as an Editor and Publisher at For Women Who Roar, my background as a trauma-informed yoga teacher, and my Human Design training inform my coaching with a holistic approach to the book-writing process.
Over the years, I have worked with thousands to help them write, heal, and uncover the story they’re meant to share with the world.
I am working on my next book when I am not coaching and editing. I can’t wait to share it with you!
I am excited to hear from you about what you are working on.
Love, Megan
